A Pit Bull isn't technically a breed but the name is commonly used to describe a few different dog breeds due to how often they end up being bred together to generate bully mixes. The recognized breeds under the Bully umbrella include the American Pit Bull Terrier, the Bull Terrier, the American Staffordshire Terrier, and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Unfortunately, Pit Bulls have a reputation for being violent towards animals and humans alike but this couldn't be further from the truth. If a pit bull is dangerous it's because it's been trained by a human to be like that. At CORE Dog we're a huge Bully advocate and have trained our fair share of puppy, adult & rescue Pit Bulls and Pit Mixes in the past. Below is a gallery of just a few of them.

Typical traits include - Clownish, Strong Willed, Friendly, Stubborn, Affectionate, Loyal, Obedient, Intelligent and Courageous.
